For my first welding project, I welded a base for a (working!) sink used in Uncle Vanya. The unique challenge of this was that it was made of pipe, and therefore I needed to notch the pipes so the cross pieces would “cup” each other. I did this by cutting 45 degree angles into the pipe. I then welded plate steel with holes on the top to attach to the bottom of the sink.
